Our in-house diagnostic capabilities include:
In-House Laboratory Testing
We partner with IDEXX Laboratories, a leader in veterinary diagnostics, to run many of the most common tests right from our North Station clinic. This means:
- Complete blood counts (CBC)
- Blood chemistry panels
- Thyroid function tests
- Urinalysis and fecal exams
- Heartworm, tick-borne disease, and FeLV/FIV testing
Results are often available within minutes, allowing us to move quickly when your pet needs urgent care.
Veterinary Radiology
Our digital X-ray system offers high-resolution images with lower radiation exposure, helping us assess:
- Fractures and orthopedic injuries
- Foreign bodies
- Organ size and shape
- Lung and heart health
- Dental and jaw abnormalities (when paired with dental radiographs)
Radiographs can be performed while your pet is calm and comfortably positioned — often during the same visit.
Pet Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging allows us to examine your pet’s internal organs in real time, without the need for surgery or sedation in most cases. It’s especially useful for evaluating:
- Abdominal pain or bloating
- Abnormal lab results
- Tumors or masses
- Pregnancy and reproductive health
- Bladder or kidney issues
If we need more advanced interpretation, we can also consult with board-certified radiologists for a second opinion.
